Kids LOVE it, and adults too!

It’s a perfect desert for summer, winter and anytime in between.

There are only 2 main ingredients! Everything else you can add depending on the season or availability in the pantry.

I’ll give you some ideas right away.

Winter Version 1: bananas, lemon, canned pineapple, pear, apple.

Winter Version 2: bananas, lemon, kiwi, apples. grapefruit.

Spring Version: bananas, lemon, strawberries, apple, orange.

Summer Version 1: bananas, lemon, melon, strawberries, kiwi.

Summer Version 2: bananas, lemon, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries.

Summer Version 3: bananas, lemon, peaches, nectarines, orange, apple.

Fall Version: bananas, lemon, orange, grapes, kiwi.

Again variations are limitless. The only 2 important ingredients are bananas and fresh lemon juice.

Bananas tend to blend and smooth all fruit tastes together. And freshly squeezed lemon juice combined with brown sugar and juices from the fruits creates an incredible light and delicious sauce for the salad.

Note: If you are using canned pineapples there might be no need to add sugar at all. The juice from the canned pineapples is already sweet enough. But again, try and adjust to your taste.

Now let’s see what we have for our beautiful fruit salad today.
